SOCIAL MEDIA

Basically_Broadway - Instagram, TikTok, & YouTube

July 2015 - Present

One of my greatest hobbies and my freelance endeavor is creating content for my personal brand, @Basically_Broadway. Growing an organic following and public image over the years has been an incredibly rewarding endeavor. These postings focus on connecting with theatre fans, specifically with those in GenZ. Keeping up to date with current TikTok trends and applying them to my niche, as well as creating more creativity-based blog postings and Reels, I keep my finger on the pulse of what my audience likes to see and have gotten to know them well.

Picnic Playlist By Carly Heitner - Instagram, TikTok, & YouTube

February 2024 - August 2024

I began interning for Carly Heitner and her Broadway talk-show, Picnic Playlist, in February of 2024. Between creating graphics, establishing a palette for the brand on social media, and helping oversee content on all social platforms, it has been the most fun endeavor. Personal branding is something I find a great deal of joy in, and emphasizing the identity of Picnic Playlist was a joy and challenge. One of my favorite memories was beginning applying our short-form content to YouTube Shorts, and helping Picnic Playlist's YouTube community reach its first 1,000 subscribers.

Previous Broadway names who have joined Carly on the picnic blanket include Andrew Barth Feldman (Little Shop of Horrors), Frankie Grande (Titanique), Eva Noblezada (The Great Gatsby), Casey Likes (Back to the Future), and more!

One of our goals was to create a more cohesive looking grid feed and I was tasked with creating custom thumbnail for each Reel in order to bring this vision to life.

Reading Theater Project - Instagram & Facebook

October 2024 - December 2024

In the fall of 2024, while studying abroad in London, I wanted to take on a remote internship position to continue growing my skills in theatrical marketing. Joining the team at Reading Theater Project to help promote their organization as well as the world premiere of playwright D.W. Gregory's (author of Radium Girls) Intimate Exposures in Reading, Pennsylvania was an incredibly heartfelt experience. I have always admired what RTP stands for in the Reading community. From welcoming all artists with open arms to helping introduce new and exciting works to the community, working with RTP felt like giving back to the theatre community that helped raise me in my hometown.

I designed a number of graphics and captions to promote Intimate Exposures as well as keep in close contact with RTP's artistic director in order to create more post outlines to promote upcoming events for the organization.

TESTIMONIALS

"Zoe Ennis was Reading Theater Project's social media intern during a world premiere production in the fall of 2024. She was an dynamic addition to our marketing team. She produced excellent, clear, creative posts for Facebook and Instagram that not only communicated information to our followers and audience members, but created materials that were on brand for the company and production. She truly understood our mission, and it showed in her work. I would absolutely work with Zoe again and happily recommend her."

IMPOSTER Senior Thesis Film - Instagram

July 2024 - Present

In the summer of 2024, I was approached by my friend, Kylie Schultz, to help lead marketing for her upcoming student thesis film for Ithaca College entitled Imposter. I immediately joined the team and was eager to translate my theatrical marketing skills into film marketing. We wanted this campaign to be far different than that for any other student film and we wanted to build anticipation not just from the Ithaca College community, but from beyond as well.

This opportunity turned out to be a remarkable opportunity to have a chance to let my creativity loose for this passion project!

IMPOSTER was recognized at the 2025 BEA Festival of Media Arts and was awarded an Award of Excellence for Social Media to the team of Kylie Schultz, Zoe Ennis, Gianna Izzo, and Ben Andrews.

Sycamore Stage Theatre Company - Instagram & Facebook

April 2024 - August 2024

In summer of 2024, I reached out to local theater in my hometown, Sycamore Stage, and volunteered to work as the company's Digital Marketing Lead for their production of Little Women: The Musical. Coordinating with the creative team in order to formulate a marketing strategy, I immediately began creating an image for the production through graphics and a selected palette. This was my first time fully creating the promotional appearance of a show, and it was a wonderful experience getting to collaborate with the Sycamore Stage team. I aimed for this production to feel warm and to create a digital presence that highlighted the familial community of Sycamore Stage.

I designed the graphics for the production, both digital and physical, and ran the company's Instagram and Facebook during my time on-board.

TESTIMONIALS

"It was an absolute pleasure to work with Zoe Ennis on our production of Little Women, the Musical. Zoe managed all aspects of marketing and social media for Sycamore Stage Theatre Company with exceptional skill and creativity. She designed a beautiful logo that perfectly captured the essence of our production and handled our Instagram and Facebook accounts with professionalism and flair. Thanks to her efforts, our production reached a broad audience and maintained a strong online presence.

Zoe’s dedication, creativity, and attention to detail were integral to the success of our marketing campaign, and I highly recommend her for any future endeavors."

Landon Heimbach, Artistic Director of Sycamore Stage Theatre Company

"Zoe Ennis is a magician when it comes to social media and marketing. Her instincts on eye-catching visuals are spectacular, her timing on advertisements is perfect, and her artistry speaks for itself. Zoe is also a master at collaboration- a skill sometimes lacking in the arts. She would take anybody's idea and make it work within her tried and true methods. In addition, Zoe's organization around the social media campaign was meticulous and greatly contributed to our success- I had individuals reach out to me asking when the next post would come out!

I highly recommend Zoe Ennis for any social media role in any discipline, as she is a tremendous asset for our company and will be for yours."
